The Avilla Area Chamber considers it an honor to recognize our members, as well as the businesses and non-profit organizations in the community, for their successes.
The Avilla Area Business Awards, sponsored by 95.5 WAWK and Silver Horse Social, is the perfect way to acknowledge clients, colleagues, and friends whose businesses have distinguished themselves through their accomplishments and contributions to the local community.
Do you know of a business or nonprofit that is a member of the Avilla Area Chamber and provides outstanding work deserving of recognition for its business achievements and ethics?
Nomination categories:
- Business of the Year – This award will be presented to a business that has demonstrated a strong commitment to its community and has a proven track record as an established business. The company must have shown growth over at least two years of operations and have a history of providing superior customer service.
- Businessman of the Year – This award honors an individual with a highly esteemed reputation as a successful manager and community leader.
- Businesswoman of the Year – This award honors an individual with a highly esteemed reputation as a successful manager and community leader.
- Nonprofit Organization of the Year – This award will be granted to a local nonprofit organization that excels in pursuing its mission, meets a defined public need, provides outstanding service to its constituents and the community, demonstrates good stewardship of donor dollars, and adheres to sound business ethics and practices. This organization must also be recognized as tax-exempt and designated as a public charity under Section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code.
- Solopreneur of the Year – This award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated a strong commitment to their community and has a substantiated record as an established business. This entrepreneur must have shown growth through at least two years of operations and exhibit a strong commitment to good business practices.
